Our founders, Dr. Youssef Abdelmassih and Dr. Sylvain el-Khoury initiated Geneah in 2017 with the Ayounkon project, a grass-root initiative to provide eye-care treatment to vulnerable communities in the Bekaa Valley. As of today, the Ayounkon project has treated more than 5000 children and elderly all over Lebanon.

GENEAH’s organigramme is fluid and is project-based. The organization has been founded in 2017 and was registered with the Joint Administrative Directorate no. 1610 in 2021.
